Dame Vera Lynn

Dame Vera Lynn gave hope and inspiration to wartime troops during World War II, with her classic hits We’ll Meet Again and The White Cliffs of Dover. She has held a special place in the hearts of the British for keeping up morale and will be forever known as “the Forces’ sweetheart”. In 2017 we projected Lynn’s portrait onto the White Cliffs of Dover to celebrate her 100th birthday. To honour her contribution to British history and to celebrate her amazing life on the day of her funeral we teamed up with Decca records and took to the iconic cliffs to light them up once again.

The campaign generated a huge amount of press, featuring in the following publications: BBC, inews, The Telegraph, ITV, Evening Standard, plus more.
