EXPERIENTIAL CAMPAIGN

Diabolical worked alongside the digital team at Sony to create a campaign that would help drive fan interaction and social media content for Olly Murs UK tour. Diabolical were given full creative license for this project, managing the campaign from ideation to implementation. The campaign concept was a direct response to the brief: an Olly Murs photoball. The three meter inflatable sphere, equipped with a lightweight camera capable of capturing high-definition video footage, was launched into the audience at each concert offering a unique perspective of the event from 0 to 30 feet above the fans. The footage was then uploaded to a bespoke microsite and all Murs’ official social media pages. This creative newsroom approach to digital storytelling generated a great response from fans – who were then able to view exclusive content or tag themselves in media from the events.
