Everyone’s favourite virtual band, Gorillaz, made a welcome return to the scene in 2018 with their new album, The Now Now. A surprisingly quick follow up to 2017’s Humanz, the new album is also the first to feature a new fictional band member, Ace, who filled in for the jailed bassist Murdoc.

We teamed up with Parlophone Records on a campaign to promote its upcoming release and – in typical Gorillaz-style – the band teased fans across London as the poster campaign featured cryptic twists on popular song lyrics and titles. Alongside 48 sheet and 4 sheet takeovers, we also created an eye-catching special build in Hammersmith, as the recognisable and vibrant artwork spilled out of the poster frame.
